Pierre is an expert in the digital media ecosystem, from content authoring to playback, including audio-video formats and codecs (AC3, MPEG2, MP4, DCP...), Internet protocols, web, 3D, home networks (Ethernet, 802.11, HomePlug, MOCA...) and DRM. He has architected systems for a wide range of platforms, from embedded systems to web applications, including content distribution systems over physical media and IP networks. He has experience with multiple languages (C++, Java, JS, Python…) and software stacks. He is the inventor on multiple patents.
Pierre has negotiated and closed investment and licensing agreements, including in the 3D and laser display space, and has conducted technology valuation and patent portfolio analysis. He has a track record developing winning customer presentations and business plans. He has built strong relationships with customers and partners, including Hollywood majors.
Pierre has organized and chaired standards committees and industry groups. He is the author of worldwide technical standards and has been published in academic journals. He is a frequent speaker at industry functions.
Pierre has a Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA and a B.Sc. Honours from McGill University. He is fluent in French and English.

Julia Cutler is an experienced marketing strategist with expertise in managing digital media products, from development to launch. She has worked for leading content and technology providers, and has advised start-ups on product strategy and positioning.
At Paramount Pictures, she worked with HBO to launch the first HDTV services, contributed to adapting the DVD specification for use in In-flight Entertainment and was a key participant in the MovieLink joint venture that developed the first Internet VOD service. At Dolby, she developed and managed the Dolby Digital Plus product strategy, resulting in its adoption worldwide, including ATSC and Blu-ray Disc. While at Sonic Solutions, she managed the team that launched the award winning Qflix platform with Dell and CinemaNow.
